Homelander star Antony Starr has responded to a fan about the upcoming season finale of The Boys. The actor replied on a recent Instagram post, noting that not everything might be tied up in the one hour and five minute long final episode of season 5.

He shared some behind the scenes images from filming The Boys season 5 episode 7, including one with him in the Oval Office and another with Tomer Capone from Frenchie's death scene.

One comment on the post read, "yall got a lot to wrap up next week," to which the Homelander actor replied: "life is messy. Nothing ends up tidy….." He also shared a series of emojis with his comments including a fire one and a laughing one.

This isn't the only thing that Starr has been responding to either with some users on X noticing that he has been sharing heart emojis on fan videos criticizing the show. One of these is from commentator Dylan Safko who shared a video called "The Boys has lost the plot completely." Starr replied with a heart and kissing face emoji.

It's not quite clear what the actor means by his responses but some fans think he's trying to spread some positivity ahead of the final episode. Showrunner Eric Kripke also teased recently that viewers are in for "a treat" with the finale, which will be broadcast in theaters across the US.
