‘Wingman’: Comedy With Kayla Wallace, Jamie Kennedy & Russell Peters Gets U.S., Canada & Australia Releases

EXCLUSIVE: Harland Williams’ comedy Wingman has set a theatrical release next month in Canada via Andromedia and in Australia via Bounty Films ahead of a U.S. streaming debut on Apple TV on May 26.

Cast includes Kayla Wallace (Landman), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), Russell Peters (Chef), Shiva Negar (American Assassin) and David Lipper (Full House).

Harland, who also directs, stars alongside Evan Marsh (Workin’ Moms), with the story following a self-styled wacky “wingman” whose extreme coaching sends a man into escalating dating misadventures as he tries to win back his ex, played by Negar.

The film is produced by Justin L. Levine (Life Happens) and Stardust Pictures. David Lipper and Robert A. Daly Jr. serve as executive producers, with James Pratt (Eyes of Salt) as associate producer. Casting is by Carly Granovsky.

Williams wrote the script with the story by Levine. The movie premiered at the Malibu Film Festival.
