War update: 63 combat clashes since morning, Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors remain most active

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook in an update as of 16:00.

The General Staff noted that the aggressor continues shelling border areas. In the Sumy region today, the areas of the settlements Sopich, Khliborob, Neskuchne, Prohres, Volfyne, Rohizne, Kharkivka, Ryzhivka, Stepanivka, Bachivsk, and Atynske were affected. Airstrikes targeted Tovstodubove and Holubivka.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, Russian forces carried out 46 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including seven using multiple launch rocket systems. One assault action by the enemy was recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the occupiers attempted nine times to improve their positions near Lyptsi, Lyman, Starytsia, Izbytske, and Mala Vovcha. One of these attempts is ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops carried out three assault actions toward Kurylivka and Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders attacked nine times toward Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Lyman, and Yampil. Two of these attacks are ongoing.

In the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk directions, the occupiers did not conduct active offensive operations.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out nine attacks toward Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka. One of these attempts is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 17 times to push Ukrainian forces from their positions toward Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske. Two attacks are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once toward Verbove.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 11 attacks toward Ukrainian defensive positions near Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Hirke, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka, and Zelene.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attacked once toward Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the occupiers carried out two assault actions — near Antonivka and Bilohrudyi Island.

No significant changes have been recorded in other directions, and no enemy attempts to advance have been observed, the General Staff added.

As reported by Ukrinform, 186 combat clashes between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded over the past day.
