Apple just made it easier for Apple Card users to access Savings on the web

Apple has launched web access for Apple Card Savings, giving current and former Apple Card users a new way to view and manage their accounts outside of the Wallet app. Here are the details.

Apple Card users get web access to Savings

Current and former Apple Card holders can now head to card.apple.com/savings, where they can perform the same actions as they can from the Wallet app when it comes to the Savings section.sa

That includes checking the current and available balances, viewing year-to-date interest paid and the annual percentage yield, and downloading statements and tax documents.

The interface is extremely simple and doesn’t feature the same graphs and navigation as the Wallet app.

Still, it is a useful fallback for quickly checking your Savings balance or downloading account documents when accessing Savings through Wallet isn’t an option, including for users with closed Apple Card accounts.

As a reminder, a Savings account can be opened by Apple Card owners and co-owners, and is where users can automatically deposit the Daily Cash they earn from Apple Card purchases.

Users can also add money from Apple Cash or a linked external bank account.

Here’s what users need to open a Savings account, according to Apple’s support document:

• Be an active Apple Card account owner or co-owner and add Apple Card to your iPhone.
• iOS 16.4 or later.
• Be at least 18 years or older.
• A social security number or individual taxpayer identification number.
• Be a U.S. resident with a valid, physical U.S. address.
• Two-factor authentication set up for your Apple Account.

Once those requirements are met, users can open the Wallet app, tap Apple Card, tap the More button, select Rewards & Offers, and then tap Set Up next to Savings.
