Zero Gravity Management Sets First-Look Deal For Sports Content With USA Today Studios
EXCLUSIVE: Zero Gravity Management has inked a first-look deal with USA Today Studios, the television and film production division of USA Today, as part of a new venture in sports content.
Zero Gravity will team with USA Today Studios to develop and produce projects — both scripted and unscripted — based on the media company’s deep sports IP vault, including articles, features and podcasts originating from USA Today and USA Today Network’s 200 local publications across the country.
Eric Williams, Suchir Batra and Gavin Lurie, who will oversee the alliance at Zero Gravity, commented, “We are thrilled to work with the USA TODAY Studios team. IP and direct access to talent are integral to developing anything in the sports world and teaming up with a premiere brand such as USA TODAY is the perfect way to bring more of these sports stories to life.”
Zero Gravity Management reps a broad roster of screenwriters, directors, actors, animation artists, and below-the-line talent across film and television. Notable production credits include The Accountant franchise, the Oscar-nominated Better Man, as well as Netflix’s lauded crime drama Ozark and Emmy-nominated miniseries Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker.
