Where to get the staff key in 007 First Light
The 007 First Light Staff Key opens a few useful doors in the chess tournament hotel and is an easy thing to find once you know where to look. If you've hit a locked door with the message 'x Staff Key' then you'll know it exists but not where to get it. Fortunately, it's an easy thing to find as long as you use your Q lenses to locate it, and find a distraction to hide your sticky fingers as you steal it. Here's what to do.
007 First Light Staff key location
Unsurprisingly, you can get the staff key from the hotel staff in 007 First Light. If you use your Q lenses it shouldn't take you long before you see someone with a very obvious key in their pocket, as shown above. If you can't find one just by looking around then I know of two options to try:
- On the second floor near the stairs where you can eavesdrop on two maids talking about Mr Prendergast, there's a door marked 'Staff Only' with a man in a white shirt nearby who has a key
- If you turn right behind reception to approach the manager office by the small restricted area with a guard, the guard also also has a key.
There maybe more options but those were the two I found. Once you've located someone with a key you can pickpocket them to get it but only when they're distracted. The easiest way to do that is with a phone dart to make them sick but any sabotage or interactive thing that gets their attention will do the job - there's a clock behind the guard for example you can use.
Once you have the key you can then use it to open a couple of doors in the hotel, although it's mainly important to access the manager's office where you'll find both the 007 First Light manager's office safe code and the First Light Laundry code you'll need to carry on following the blond bellhop.
Once you've cleared that laundry section you'll find yourself back in the main hotel area, and not far from the First Light Fireplace puzzle you'll need to solve to finally catch up with your target.
