War update: 236 combat clashes on frontline over past day

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its Facebook update on the situation as of 08:00 on April 25, according to Ukrinform.

The enemy carried out 86 airstrikes, dropping 261 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 6,849 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,634 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 64 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes were recorded in the area of the settlement of Iskryskivshchyna in the Sumy region and near Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, strikes hit the settlements of Charivne, Liubytske, Tsvitkove, Hirske, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Sviatopetrivka, Kopani, and Rivne. The enemy also struck Dniprovske in the Kherson region.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery hit 10 clusters of enemy personnel.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out two airstrikes using six guided bombs, conducted 119 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 17 from multiple rocket launch systems, and attempted seven assault operations.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Starytsia and toward Zybyne, Izbytske, Vovchansk, and Lyman.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched 10 attacks near Novoosynove, Kindrashivka, and toward Radkivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted 15 assaults toward Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Novoserhiivka, Zelenyi Hai, Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Lyman.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Sloviansk sector.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces carried out nine attacks toward Minkivka, Nykyforivka, Bondarne, Fedorivka, and Markove.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 27 attacks were recorded near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Toretske, and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped 63 assault attempts toward Bilytske, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novopidhorodnie, and Molodetske.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops attacked four times near Oleksandrohrad and toward Kalynivske and Sosnivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, 14 enemy attacks were recorded near Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske, Zelenе, and Sviatopetrivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces stopped two attempts by Russian troops to advance toward Prymorske and near Stepove.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces carried out five assault operations toward the Antonivskyi Bridge, Bilohrudyi Island, and Kruhlyk Island.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

As previously reported, total Russian combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, to April 25, 2026, amount to about 1,324,690 personnel, including 1,230 in the past day.
