Several units of the Russian Airborne Forces are being redeployed from the Kursk region to the Dnipro River area to reinforce the group of forces in the Kherson region and intensify assault operations in the Dnipro River island zone.

This was reported by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“There is information that the Russians are redeploying several units of their Airborne Forces from the Kursk region to the Skadovsk and Ozerne areas in the Prydniprovske sector, thereby increasing the force currently stationed in the Kherson region,” he said.

According to the spokesperson, this is not a large-scale enemy regrouping but rather measures to increase the number of assault operations to intensify activity in the Dnipro River island zone.

As reported, fighters from the 40th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Naval Forces struck two boats of Russian invaders attempting to cross the Dnipro River with drones and neutralized 15 enemy paratroopers.
