Volkswagen will unveil the first EV from its entry-level lineup tomorrow: What to expect

The ID. Polo is set to kick off a new chapter at Volkswagen as the first model from its new family of entry-level EVs.

A new family of entry-level VW EVs

“With an entry-level price starting at 25,000 euros, we are making electric mobility accessible to many people in Europe,” Volkswagen brand boss Thomas Schäfer said in December.

Volkswagen claims the ID. Polo is “more versatile than any of its predecessors.” It will be the first of four smaller, more affordable electric vehicles that will bear an established Volkswagen brand name.

The electric Polo will also bring an entirely new look and feel to the “ID” series as Volkswagen aims to recapture the brand’s essence in the modern era.
