VMI Worldwide is bringing 40 Years of Fuckin’ Up, the documentary feature on the punk band NOFX, to the Cannes Market

Directed by James Buddy Day and produced by Fat Mike, 40 Years of Fuckin’ Up is described as “an unfiltered, high-energy chronicle of legendary punk band NOFX, capturing four decades of chaos, controversy, and cultural impact.” 

The official synopsis reads: “The film delivers a raw and deeply personal look at the band’s journey from underground outsiders to one of the most influential independent acts in music history.” 

The film debuted at SXSW 2026 and has received a series of theatrical screenings.

“It’s not just a music documentary—it’s a raw, human story about longevity, rebellion, and the cost of staying true to yourself,” Andre Relis, CEO of VMI, said in a statement. 

VMI Worldwide is handling international on the title. The company’s Cannes slate also includes A Sudden Case Of Christmas starring Danny DeVito and Andie MacDowell, Corner Office starring Jon Hamm, Arkansas starring Vince Vaughn, Liam Hemsworth, and John Malkovich, and Come Out Fighting starring Kellan Lutz and Tyrese Gibson
