Virginie Efira, Star Of Cannes Competition Movies ‘All Of A Sudden’ & ‘Parallel Tales’, Signs With UTA
EXCLUSIVE: United Talent Agency (UTA) has signed celebrated Belgian and French actress Virginie Efira for representation.
Efira will be at the Cannes Film Festival this week with leading roles in two films premiering in Competition: Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s Soudain (All of A Sudden) and Asghar Farhadi’s Parallel Tales.
Efira won the César Award for Best Actress for her performance in Alice Winocour’s 2022 drama Paris Memories and has been nominated on five other occasions. She has collaborated with directors including Paul Verhoeven, Justine Triet, Rebecca Zlotowski, and Catherine Corsini.
She first garnered international attention starring opposite Isabelle Huppert in Verhoeven’s Elle, before earning César nominations for Triet’s In Bed with Victoria and Sibyl. She later reunited with Verhoeven for Benedetta, which premiered in Competition at Cannes 2021.

Additional credits include Zlotowski’s Other People’s Children, the Disney+ series Tout va Bien, and Vie Privée opposite Jodie Foster, released in the U.S. by Sony Pictures Classics.
Efira continues to be represented by Agence Adequat and Agence Pulp in France.
