Inside the detailed report by the Atlantic’s Sarah Fitzpatrick raises many questions the alleged excessive drinking and erratic behaviour of the FBI Director. Kash Patel has described the allegations as “fake news” and threatens to take legal action against the publications. Gavin Lee speaks to Sarah Fitzpatrick

A few weeks ago, the head of the FBI Kash Patel was targetted by an apparent Iranian group of hackers, that managed to get into his emails, and published a series of unfortunate photographs.

 

Fast forward to this week : allegations of excessive drinking, unexplained absenses and paranoid behaviour of the FBI Director Kash Patel are being made in a detailed report, published in the renowned Atlantic magazine. He has denied the claims as fake news. The journalist behind the report, Sarah Fitzpatrick spoke to a number of FBI officials, questioning Mr Patel's fitness for office.
