Operators from the 413th Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, “Raid,” struck a number of telecommunications infrastructure sites belonging to the Russian invaders at a considerable distance from the front lines in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

According to Ukrinform, the 413th Regiment reported this on Facebook.

“In particular, strikes were carried out in Melitopol, Verkhniy Tokmak, and Zachativka,” the statement reads.

Disabling such equipment makes it more difficult for Russian invaders to command their troops in certain sectors of the front.

In addition, it significantly complicates the operations of enemy UAV crews, who are critically dependent on the quality of their communications.

As reported by Ukrinform, on May 21 and during the night of May 22, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck ammunition depots, air defense systems, command posts, and personnel of the Russian Federation’s army in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and within the Russian Federation.
