Ukrainian drones strike Russian EW systems on Southern Slobozhanshchyna front
According to Ukrinform, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported the operation and released video footage of the combat mission.
During the operation, Ukrainian reconnaissance units detected positions from which Russian forces were distributing internet connectivity, providing electronic warfare cover, and coordinating their troops. After confirming the coordinates, Ukrainian drone operators carried out precise strikes, the statement said.
As a result of the successful operation, Strix operators hit six internet relay antennas and four EW systems.
The State Border Guard Service noted that such losses for the enemy are “far more than just burned metal.”
“The destruction of an entire relay network causes a collapse in their communications. For the invaders, this means disrupted coordination between units, the inability to quickly transmit reconnaissance data, and the complete ‘blinding’ of their strike and reconnaissance UAVs. Left without internet access and EW protection, enemy infantry becomes deaf, blind, and isolated,” the agency stated.
