Ukraine has resumed fuel imports from Hungary and Slovakia, though this will not affect domestic market prices.

Serhii Kuiun, Director of A95 Consulting Group, told Ukrinform: “We’ve already resumed. It won’t affect prices, since we also purchase there at market value.”

At the same time, Kuiun noted that restoring imports from Hungary and Slovakia will strengthen the domestic market by further diversifying supply routes.

As reported, Hungary and Slovakia in February suspended fuel exports to Ukraine until oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline was restored. The pipeline resumed operations on April 22 after repairs following a Russian strike.
