Ukraine ready to share air defense experience with Azerbaijan – Hnatov
This was stated in an interview with Report.az by Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
In April, a Ukrainian delegation led by Volodymyr Zelensky visited Azerbaijan.
“This visit is, above all, a step toward strengthening the strategic partnership between our two countries, beneficial for both sides. First and foremost, Ukraine is ready to share its expert experience and assist in organizing and strengthening the air defense system. I will not disclose a number of aspects of this cooperation at this time – that is a matter between the two states,” he said.
According to Hnatov, the purpose of the exchange of experience is to help Azerbaijan modernize its national defense.
“In general, the goal is one: to help Azerbaijan modernize its defense and adapt it to the challenges of today,” the Chief of the General Staff added.
