Ukraine imposes sanctions on companies involved in production of Russian missiles, says Vlasiuk
The new package of Ukrainian sanctions targets companies and intermediaries involved in the production of Russian missiles and the supply of critical components to the Russian defense industry. Ukraine will also share information about those targeted with its international partners.

This was announced by Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“In the new sanctions package, Ukraine is targeting companies that support the production of Russian missiles,” he noted.

The representative explained that among the key cases are companies linked to supplying JSC Moscow Machine-Building Plant Avangard (S-300/S-400 missiles), the Federal State Enterprise Perm Powder Plant, and JSC Votkinsk Plant, the manufacturer of Iskander ballistic missiles.

According to him, Unitest-Rentgen LLC supplied equipment for inspecting rocket components to the Avangard plant and also collaborated with the Joint Stock Company Corporation Moscow Institute of Heat Technology—the developer of the Topol-M, Yars, and Bulava missiles.

Also, A2 Group LLC supplied raw materials for the production of gunpowder and rocket fuel to the Federal State Enterprise Perm Powder Plant: “These are components necessary for the production of ammunition and missile systems.”

A separate set of sanctions targets companies that helped the Russian defense-industrial complex circumvent international restrictions by importing equipment and electronics. Specifically, these include JSC RT-Komplektatsiya (a subsidiary of the sanctioned Rostec holding company) and Spetstekhnologiya.

Sanctions have also been imposed on the IT company Inforion, which developed secure systems for data collection and management, as well as software for Russian law enforcement agencies.

“In fact, these sanctions target not only weapons manufacturers but the entire infrastructure that allows Russia to produce missiles, circumvent restrictions, and sustain the Russian military machine,” said Vlasiuk.

The сommissioner assured that all collected information will also be shared with international partners to coordinate sanctions.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees enacting the NSDC’s decisions to impose sanctions against Russians and companies supplying products to the Russian military-industrial complex, as well as to extend restrictive measures set to expire.
