Intoxicated Man Fires Starting Pistol in Kharkiv Metro, Police Detain Suspect

An intoxicated individual discharged a starting pistol inside Kharkiv's metro system on the evening of April 26, according to regional police. The suspect has been taken into custody following the incident.

Law enforcement received notification of the incident at the Historical Museum metro station at 21:10 on April 26. The man fired the shot upward, but no one was injured in the occurrence. Police transported the individual to a precinct for questioning to determine the full circumstances of the event. Authorities are currently considering what charges to bring against the offender, police stated in their announcement.
