Trump Acknowledges Need for Caution While Walking, Citing Age-Related Concerns

In a candid moment during a telephone interview with CNBC's Joe Kernen on Tuesday, April 21, the 79-year-old U.S. President acknowledged the physical precautions he must take when moving about, marking a rare admission regarding his health.

During the conversation, Trump drew comparisons between his own mobility and that of his predecessor Joe Biden, characterizing the former president's physical capabilities as compromised. "He couldn't walk up a flight of stairs," Trump stated, adding that Biden was "falling all over the place."

Deliberate Movement Strategy

When reflecting on his personal walking habits, Trump explained the rationale behind his measured approach to movement. "I have to be careful, 'cause if I do trip or fall, it's gonna be the biggest…" he said, before elaborating on his current practices.

The president outlined his strategy for descending from aircraft, noting: "This is why when I get out of those planes I walk nice and slowly, I'm not looking to set any speed records." This deliberate pacing reflects his awareness of the potential consequences any public stumble might generate.
