Iranian state media reported that Tehran had submitted a new proposal aimed at ending the conflict that began with US-Israeli strikes on February 28.
AdvertisementAccording to Islamic Republic News Agency, the proposal was delivered on Thursday evening, though no details were disclosed. It was transmitted via Pakistan, which has been acting as a mediator between Washington and Tehran.
The agency quoted the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei as saying that ending the war and securing a sustainable peace remain Tehran’s primary objectives in talks with the US.
