Far-right Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was once considered one of Donald Trump’s closest allies in Europe, but their relationship has recently deteriorated. As Caitlin Brown reports, Meloni has fallen out of favor with the US president, in part due to her criticism of the war in Iran and her opposition to his public feud with the Pope.
