EXCLUSIVE: Thruline Entertainment and Gersh have signed Ruby Marino for representation.

Marino is a 16-year-old actress and singer coming off her first big show, Electric Bloom, a musical comedy that ran for 17 episodes on Disney Channel/Disney+. Premiering last July, the show traces how friendship, rivalry, and the pressures of growing up shaped a female pop trio featuring Marino’s DJ, Tulip Aoki.

Marino starred opposite Lumi Pollack, Carmen Sanchez, and Nathaniel Buesche in the show, created by Alex Fox, Eric Friedman, and Rachel Lewis. Previously, the actress has also been seen on ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat, and in the Ken Marino film How To Be a Latin Lover starring Eugenio Derbez.

Notable clients at Beverly Hills-based talent and literary management company Thruline include Allison Janney, Michael Cera, Lacey Chabert, Blair Underwood, and Annie Mumolo, to name just a few. They also rep notable young talent like Joshua Colley, Shaun Dixon and Kenzi Richardson. The company has produced more than 250 hours of television and most recently produced Alone at Dawn for Amazon MGM, directed by Ron Howard and starring Anne Hathaway and Adam Driver.
