Switzerland to join agreement on Special Tribunal
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on X, according to Ukrinform.
“Switzerland has informed the Council of Europe of its willingness to join the Enlarged Partial Agreement enabling the Special Tribunal,” Sybiha wrote.
He thanked Switzerland’s partners for this principled and strong step.
The Minister noted that Switzerland plays a special role in upholding the principles and norms of international law, and that its decision has a great significance for the entire international community.
“Justice for the crime of aggression against Ukraine is inevitable and the Tribunal is not an abstract idea anymore. It’s becoming a reality,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy emphasized.
