Subnautica 2 has leaked early, developer Unknown Worlds has confirmed, but the devs say the builds that have surfaced are "incomplete development versions" that don't reflect the full game that's set to launch into official early access tomorrow.

As highlighted on social media yesterday, screenshots and a video clip from the upcoming game had surfaced online. There's really not long to wait for the actual early access release, either – it's launching on Steam and Xbox Series X|S tomorrow, May 14. It's been a strange week for game leaks, though – some Xbox users have been able to access Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight a week early, apparently thanks to a Walmart pre-order snafu that provided folks with ready-working game codes.
