Sheryl Underwood Signs With CAA
EXCLUSIVE: After making an impression as one of the major stand-outs of Netflix’s Roast of Kevin Hart, put on at the tail-end of Netflix Is a Joke Fest 2026, comedian Sheryl Underwood has signed with CAA.
Underwood first rose to prominence as a stand-up with appearances on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comic View, before becoming the longest-running co-host of CBS’s The Talk, earning five Daytime Emmys for her work there, among other accolades.
Also an actress, writer, producer, and CEO of Pack Rat Productions, Inc., Underwood has over 2 million followers across social platforms. In television, additional credits including guest starring on The Odd Couple, plus the daytime dramas The Young And The Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, and appearances as herself on the syndicated edition of Celebrity Jeopardy and Funny You Should Ask.
Underwood’s live podcast experience, Politics & Punchlines, tours alongside the I Need a Job! national comedy tour with Sheryl and Kyle Erby. The comic is also the founder of Black Radio Solidarity, which has organized national civic radiothons for voter engagement, HBCU fundraising, and public health campaigns.
