Sherri Shepherd has officially signed off from her daytime talk show, Sherri.

Following her final show on Thursday, Shepherd took to Instagram Friday to pen a goodbye message to her journey on the show.

“Family!!!! Thank you so much for all of the love and support over these last 4 years,” she wrote as a caption to a video, which included her walking in the empty studio. “It was a bittersweet end to a life I got to know so well. But here is to new beginnings…if you thought you were sick of me before just you wait.”

It was first reported in February that Debmar-Mercury, the Lionsgate-owned syndicated TV production company, would cancel Sherri after four seasons.

“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production — which has found strong creative momentum this season — or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” said Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus in a statement at the time. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

Two days later, Shepherd took to Instagram to share that she was “completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love” for her and the Sherri show.

Sherri’s cancellation came just hours after NBCUniversal announced plans to end The Kelly Clarkson Show following season seven.

Thursday night was also Stephen Colbert’s last Late Night show.
