Russian strike on Chernihiv center: Injury toll climbs to five

The number of casualties resulting from the Russian strike on central Chernihiv has increased to five.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Chernihiv City Council reported this on Telegram.

“Two more people sought medical assistance. The total number of casualties from the Russian strike on the center of Chernihiv on May 5 has increased to five,” the post states.

It is noted that all victims were diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and received medical care.

As reported, Russian troops attacked the center of Chernihiv with a Shahed drone on May 5. An administrative building was damaged, and three casualties were reported.
