Russian special services have involved 260 Ukrainian children in criminal activities.

According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prosecutor General Viktor Lohachov announced this during the conference "United for Justice. Accountability for Crimes Against Civilians."

"The methods of exploiting children have evolved. It started with arson attacks on vehicles and passing information to the enemy, and now children are being recruited for terrorist acts. In doing so, the children primarily endanger themselves. As of today, 260 children have been involved in such activities, including 50 who are under the age of 15. The youngest is 11 years old," he said.

Lohachov stressed that these are not just statistics, but represent broken lives and stolen childhoods.

As Ukrinform previously reported, at an educational institution in the Uzhhorod Raion in the Zakarpattia region, a ninth-grade student shot a classmate with a pistol.

Police classified the shooting as a terrorist act.
