Russian forces launch missile strike on Popivka community, Sumy region

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"A 88-year-old woman was injured. She was taken to hospital, where doctors are providing necessary assistance. Preliminary reports indicate her injuries are not severe," the statement said.

Non-residential buildings were also damaged, along with parts of the residential sector.

The consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

As Ukrinform previously reported, two employees of a kindergarten were killed and seven people injured in Sumy after two Russian drones struck the building.
