The Cosmetics Update goes live globally on Thursday, May 7. The release date was confirmed earlier this month, and it's unlikely to change this late. The following countdown will expire once the update goes live.
[hurrytimer id="1214199"]The countdown is based on the following timings.
- 6am PT
- 8am CT
- 9am ET
- 1pm UTC
- 2pm BST
As usual, an exact release time hasn't been announced yet. However, the countdown above follows the typical routine that's followed for all major R.E.P.O. updates. We will update this guide with any changes to help you keep track of the launch.
What to expect from R.E.P.O. Cosmetics Update
As part of the update, we will be able to get three magic staffs. All three staff can be obtained via different missions, and they will act as weapons. The recent dev diary also gave us brief glimpses into how they function, and things are about to get chaotic.
- Roll Staff: Makes targets roll away from you, offering you more space to move.
- Anti-Gravity Staff: Forces the target to float around you.
- Void Staff: Sends targets into the void, which will destroy them.
The exact missions will be known once the update goes live tomorrow. It will be interesting to find out what other features will be added as part of the update, and how they will affect the existing content. You can check out the dev diary posted above to get a better idea of what to expect.
