When I was studying Psychology in university and gradually starting my career as a freelance journalist, many of my colleagues and friends told me about a little game called Stardew Valley. They would regale me with all about the quirky relationships between its characters, how they started their farms and turned them into highly productive businesses, and anything and everything else about this cozy masterpiece they found so cute.
