Parker Posey and Stassi Schroeder Set to Host New Hulu Unscripted Series in Major Streaming Push

Hulu has greenlit multiple reality shows featuring major entertainment personalities, with Parker Posey and Stassi Schroeder taking on hosting and starring roles respectively. The streaming platform is expanding its unscripted lineup with a diverse slate of competition shows, docuseries and specials.

The Mob: Posey's Competition Show

Acclaimed actress Parker Posey will serve as host of The Mob, a new competition series coming to Hulu. Produced by Studio Lambert and STV Studios' Primal Media—the same team behind the hit show The Traitors—the series will bring together reality television veterans and celebrities to compete in a series of challenges inspired by mob movies.

Set in an Italian villa, contestants will face off in various "shake down, hustle and whack" scenarios as they compete for cash prizes totaling up to $250,000. The twist: each episode, one contestant will be crowned the "don" with absolute authority over monetary distribution, who remains in the competition, and who gets eliminated. The format tests whether leaders can maintain control or if fellow competitors will orchestrate a rebellion.

The cast includes reality television personalities Willam Belli (RuPaul's Drag Race), Demi Engemann (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives), Maria Georgas (The Bachelor season 28), Joe Gorga (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), Harry Jowsey (Let's Marry Harry), Chelsea Lazkani (Selling Sunset), and Debi Mazar (Younger). Additional cast members include Bella Palk, Shane Parton (season 22 of The Bachelorette), rapper Romeo, Bruno Tonioli (judge on Dancing With the Stars), and Aida Turturro (known for The Sopranos).

House of Stassi and Beyond

Former Vanderpump Rules and Vanderpump Villa star Stassi Schroeder will headline House of Stassi, which premieres July 29 on Freeform before the full season launches on Hulu the following day. The series will document Schroeder as she reemerges in the public eye while navigating the complexities of her past and a volatile inner circle.

Hulu's expanded reality programming also includes The Girls, featuring Khloe Kardashian alongside close friends; dating competition Ring by Spring Break; Million Dollar Nannies, a docuseries also airing on Freeform; and a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Special. Confirmed participants for the swimsuit special include models Brooks Nader, Nicole Williams English, Camille Kostek, and Jasmine Sanders.

New Podcast Launch

To further capitalize on its reality television expansion, Hulu is launching a weekly podcast titled Get Real, launching Thursday, which will provide coverage and analysis of the platform's interconnected reality programming slate.
