The mid-season update for the second season will go live on Tuesday, May 12. The launch will be simultaneous across all platforms, and the following countdown will expire once the update goes live.

The countdown is based on the following timings.

• 11am PT
• 1pm CT
• 2pm ET
• 6pm UTC
• 7pm BST

What to expect from the Season 2 mid-season update in Overwatch

Season 2 started with a bang after the introduction of new cosmetics, a new hero in Sierra, and more. The mid-season update won't be as flashy, but there should be a major balance patch. I am expecting it to have an impact on the ongoing meta. There will be more cosmetics to obtain for Ana as she will get a fresh Mythic-rarity skin.
