Officer on horseback chases suspect through New York streets
Bodycam footage shows the moment a New York police officer patrolling on horseback chases a suspected purse-snatcher around city streets.
The NYPD officer repeatedly shouted for the woman to stop running, but she refused to do so. Eventually, the woman was stopped by a pedestrian and detained by the officer.
The woman has been charged with larceny and proving false information. Authorities said the female had been previously convicted of murder in April 2000 for a fatal shooting of a cab driver and had served time in prison.
