‘No Ordinary Heist’ Director Colin McIvor Signs With Anonymous Content (EXCLUSIVE)

Colin McIvor, the Northern Irish writer/director behind recent thriller “No Ordinary Heist,” has signed with Anonymous Content for representation.
The news comes on the heels of Epic Pictures having released the film theatrically in North America on April 24, with a VOD release set for Monday.
Directed and co-written by McIvor and inspired true events from Belfast in December 2004, “No Ordinary Heist” follows two bank employees forced to orchestrate a £26.5 million ($36 million) robbery to save their families lives. The heist sees the pair execute the crime without the actual gang ever stepping foot inside the bank. Éanna Hardwicke and Eddie Marsan lead the cast, which also includes Eva Birthistle, Desmond Eastwood and Michelle Fairley.
The film premiered at the 2026 Santa Barbara Film Festival and was released in Ireland in late March.

McIvor’s 2010 debut feature, “Cup Cake,” won numerous international awards, including best feature at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the audience award at the Belfast Film Festival.
His second feature, 2017’s “Zoo,” was a historical family drama set during the Belfast Blitz of World War II. The film was released in the U.S. and U.K. in 2018, winning top honors at the Seattle International Film Festival, Giffoni Film Festival, Filemon International Film Festival, and Castellinaria International Film Festival.
In addition to his film work, McIvor has also directed on numerous television dramas, including the recent WWII epic “World On Fire” for BBC One.
McIvor continues to be represented by The Dench Arnold Agency.
