Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa reportedly wants to make up for the recent Switch 2 price hikes with a better, bigger line-up of games.
Earlier this week, the console maker announced that it's raising the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 in multiple regions across the world. Starting in September, the console's price tag is being bumped up by $50 and will cost a total of $500 in the US, with similar hikes globally. Japan and South Korea are also being hit with more expensive Nintendo Switch Online memberships.
