Nicole Kidman Heats Up the 2026 Met Gala in Sequin Chanel Alongside Daughter Sunday Rose
Nicole Kidman walked the Met Gala 2026 steps with her daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, on Monday.
The Academy Award winner sported a custom Chanel red sequin gown that was adorned with a feather trim. She hit the carpet alongside her and Keith Urban’s elder child, who wore a pink Dior ensemble and notably made her first Met Gala appearance on Monday.
Kidman is a co-chair of the 2026 Met Gala, alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Beyoncé and Venus Williams; Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos were honorary chairs. The actress’ signature blonde hair was also on display, reaching down to her waist and also styled with bangs.

Sunday Rose, 17, is one of two children Kidman shares with her former husband, Urban. They also share a 15-year-old daughter, Faith Margaret. Kidman and Urban separated after nearly 20 years of marriage in September.
The 2026 Met Gala dress code is “Fashion Is Art.” This year’s exhibition, “Costume Art,” was curated by Andrew Bolton and promised to “explore the relationship between clothing and the body beneath,” per official descriptions.
The Babygirl star is coming off the release of Amazon’s Scarpetta and Margo’s Got Money Troubles. Kidman is currently gearing up for the awaited release of Practical Magic 2, due this September. She’ll lead the film alongside Sandra Bullock.
