It's time to get excited. Very excited. The new Spider-Noir trailer is here out of CCXP Mexico, and it instantly cemented the upcoming Prime Video show as a true contender for 2026's superhero crown. Yes, we're including Avengers: Doomsday in that conversation.

The introduction of Man-Spider, a concept of a man with a spider-like appearance pulled from the pages of Marvel Fanfare, also shows that there's space for a dash of horror to go along with the dark shadows and even darker gangsters lurking in New York.

Spider-Noir might not be the only show in town, either. Showrunner Oren Uziel told SFX magazine that there are "other" variants being considered for future projects.

In a separate interview, Uziel has also said he wants to "make a version of Spider-Man that no one has seen before," which is probably why Nicolas Cage has described his performance of Ben Reilly as akin to "a spider pretending to be a person" and even Bugs Bunny. Spider-Noir releases on Prime Video on May 27, with MGM Plus subscribers being able to see the premiere early on May 25.
