Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth Review - A Flicker Of Light Amongst The Dark

Being largely unfamiliar with Tove Jansson’s iconic and beloved Moomins universe, more specifically books like Moominland Midwinter, I can’t say for sure what intrigued me most about this video game adaptation. Perhaps it was the charming art style, the seemingly introspective themes, or maybe I just wanted to learn who the heck Moomintroll was. Because this cute and cuddly creature can’t possibly be based on one of the most terrifying animals on the planet, right?
