Mina The Hollower Review

Mina the Hollower wears its inspirations on its sleeve. Just like Shovel Knight, which its developer — Yacht Club Games — is pretty much solely known for, Mina is a fairly obvious attempt to elicit nostalgia that takes starry-eyed players back to the old school era of Link’s Awakening and Castlevania. There’s nothing wrong with this approach, but you do run the risk of making a game that is slightly worse than something that already exists.
