Eddie Redmayne and Miles Teller are in talks to star in “Star One,” a new spy thriller from Doug Liman set to launch at the market in Cannes.

Liman — who recently wrapped AI thriller “Bitcoin” starring Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson — is directing from a script by David Coggeshall. BAFTA Award nominee P.J. van Sandwijk (“Ferrari”) will produce for Storyteller Productions alongside Project X Entertainment’s William Sherak (“Scream 7”) James Vanderbilt (“Nuremberg”), and Paul Neinstein (“The Night Agent”). CAA is representing domestic sales for the film, with Black Bear handling international.
