Lucasfilm is set to mark the unofficial Star Wars celebration day by orchestrating an exclusive premiere screening across select IMAX theaters worldwide, offering fans a first look at footage from the highly anticipated film.
The entertainment giant will leverage May the 4th to unveil more than 25 minutes of unreleased material from Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the Grogu, bringing the beloved character Grogu—known colloquially as Baby Yoda—to cinema screens for the inaugural time.

Helmed by Jon Favreau, who also serves as creator of the Disney+ series that inspired the theatrical release, the film represents a cinematic expansion of the streaming platform's hit show. Favreau penned the screenplay alongside collaborators Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor.
The fan appreciation event will feature exclusive merchandise, including a newly designed poster that attendees will receive at participating IMAX locations globally. The celebration occurs in advance of the film's North American theatrical debut on May 22, positioning the release during the extended Memorial Day weekend.

Story Synopsis
