Kia cuts EV4 prices by $10,000 in response to the new Volkswagen ID.3 Neo

The battle of the entry-level EVs is heating up. A week after Volkswagen launched the upgraded ID.3 Neo, Kia is cutting EV4 prices by over $10,000 in some markets.

The EV4 went on sale in Europe last year as Kia’s first electric hatch (also sold as a sedan or fastback), joining the popular EV3 in its expanding mass-market EV lineup.

As its first electric vehicle designed and produced in Europe, the EV4 is a cornerstone of Kia’s plans to corner the affordable, entry-level segment.

While the EV4 was slightly more expensive than the Volkswagen ID.3 when it launched, it also offered a longer driving range, more power, and additional features.
