Kempower unveils its dual CCS and megawatt truck charger

Kempower just unveiled its Mega Satellite Flex, a high-power EV charger that supports both CCS (up to 560 kW) and megawatt charging (up to 1.2 MW) for heavy-duty trucks.

This is Kempower’s first dispenser that supports either the current CCS standard or the newer Megawatt Charging System (MCS) for heavy-duty trucks.

That matters because the industry is in a transition period: CCS still dominates passenger EV charging, while MCS is being built out for electric trucks that need much higher power levels.

The goal is straightforward: keep vehicles moving, cut downtime, and make better use of each charging site.
