Jeep shelves its only EV in the US for 2026, but promises it will return better than ever
Jeep’s only electric SUV in the US, the Wagoneer S, will not receive a 2026 model year. The company said it will return with major improvements.

It’s official. Jeep won’t offer the all-electric Wagoneer S in the US for a 2026 model year. Although the electric SUV showed promise after its launch in late 2024, sales have slowed due to the Trump administration’s policy changes and increased competition.
Stellantis sold 10,864 Wagoneer S models in the US last year and just 175 in the first three months of 2026, 90% fewer than the 2,595 it sold in Q1 2025.
In a statement, a company spokesperson confirmed to Automotive News that the Jeep Wagoneer S won’t receive a 2026 model year for the North American market.
