Jade Didn't Replace Mileena In Mortal Kombat 2, Says Kitana Actor
The new Mortal Kombat movies introduced Mileena before Kitana, and it's left the films in an awkward position. In the first one, Mileena appears as one of Shang Tsung's henchmen and gets unceremoniously killed off. She isn't mentioned at all in the second film, which introduces Kitana and Jade - two characters central to Mileena's backstory.
