Israeli Strike Kills Journalist Amal Khalil, Wounds Colleague in Southern Lebanon

A journalist has been killed and her colleague injured in a targeted military operation in southern Lebanon, with repeated strikes hampering emergency response efforts.

Amal Khalil, a reporter, was killed in what is described as a 'double-tap' attack in the region, while journalist Zeinab Faraj sustained injuries in the same incident. According to Lebanon's Al Akhbar News, the successive strikes targeting the journalists and paramedics at the scene significantly delayed rescue and medical assistance operations by several hours.
