Will Forza Horizon 6 be on Game Pass? As an Xbox Game Studios-published game, it will be playable on the service on day one, but only if you're paying for the highest Game Pass tier. If you've already got a subscription, you'll be saving yourself $70/£60, but there's a lot of premium add-on content for Forza Horizon 6 that isn't covered by Game Pass that might take your fancy. So, here's a rundown of everything you need to know about FH6 coming Game Pass.

Can you play Forza Horizon 6 with Game Pass?

Yes, Forza Horizon 6 will be on Game Pass on launch day – that's May 19 – but only on the Ultimate and PC plans. That means Essential and Premium subscribers will need to upgrade to be able to play it.

If you want to play the game a few days early on May 15, you need to pre-order the $120/£110 Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition, which doesn't require a Game Pass subscription. Also included in the higher price tag is access to two post-launch expansions, two Car Packs, the Welcome Pack, the Car Pass, and VIP membership – this will fill out some of your collection if you're trying to own the entire Forza Horizon 6 car list.

But if you're a Game Pass subscriber and don't want to miss out on all those extras, you can also buy the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Upgrade Bundle for $60/£60 instead. Just bear in mind that if you cancel your Game Pass subscription, you won't be able to play the game at all until you buy the base game or resubscribe to Game Pass.

While there's also no chance of Forza Horizon 6 leaving Game Pass any time soon, remember that almost all previous Forza Horizon games were de-listed from online storefronts after a few years, including leaving Game Pass – at the time of writing, Forza Horizon 5 is the only previous Forza Horizon game that you can play on the service. This probably won't be an issue for Forza Horizon 6 for several years but it's something to bear in mind if you want to play the game long-term, as it won't be on Game Pass forever, assuming the trend continues.
