iOS 26.5: These carriers offer RCS end-to-end encrypted messaging

iOS 26.5 is here, and one of its tentpole features is RCS end-to-end encrypted messaging. Here’s the list of carriers that currently support the new RCS feature.

Here are the carriers that support end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging in iOS 26.5

Messaging between iPhone and Android devices just got a big security upgrade in iOS 26.5. That’s because support for end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging arrived today.

It’s available with a ‘beta’ label for now, and will roll out gradually to all your RCS conversations. Additionally, carriers need to sign on to support the feature.

Fortunately, Apple seems off to a great start with carrier buy-in.

Here are all the carriers in the US and Canada that currently support end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging, per Apple:

End-to-end encrypted RCS messaging is on by default in iOS 26.5. When conversations are encrypted, you’ll see an ‘Encrypted’ label in the Messages app.
