How to lay the bird trap in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders' Riven Tides update has a new project, Avian Alarm, and the first task is to lay down a bird trap. This might sound simple, but it's not. You'll need to find the buoys on the Riven Tides map before you can set your trap.

Let's look at how to get the job done so that you can proceed with the latter stages of the Avian Alarm project.

How to find the bird trap in ARC Raiders

The bird trap is located in the northern part of the map. You'll have to head past the Port Authority Building until you find what used to be the ocean. I have marked the exact location of the buoy below.

As of writing, I haven't found the buoy elsewhere, so it's safe to assume that this is the only one. The location also appears to be fixed, irrespective of the raid round.

You'll see several locations around the buoy to place your trap. Pick one, and place it. That's all you have to do, and you don't even need to wait for a bird to get trapped in it. Once the trap has been set, return to Spearanza and go to Projects. You'll find that the first step for the Avian Alarm project is now complete, and you can proceed with the next set of tasks.

Completing the first step will also get you a few rewards, but it's the next set of tasks that have the really nice freebies. You can read about all the tasks and rewards that you can collect by completing the Avian Alarm project. It's available for the next four weeks, so you've plenty of time to collect all the required materials to finish the stages.
